LOVELY CA 1840 MATCHED PAIR OF 'MOON' SNIPE BILL MOLDING PLANES

Both stamped 'MOON 4 LITTLE QN ST. LINCOLN'S INN-FIELDS'. According to Rees' BPM 3, Mrs Ann Moon & Co worked at this address from 1831-1851. A female planemaker! Excellent condition noting only a few nicks in the boxing. Can be used as is or easily repaired... Snipe bill pairs are just so tough to find.
