OUTSTANDING 1820 "WILLIAM TAYLOR" FINE HONING STONE - COTICULE

Early sharpening stone on beautiful decorated wooden base. This very fine grit stone measures about 1/4" thick and appears to be bonded to another stone underneath. Likely a Belgian Coticule.  What also makes this piece so exceptional is the original dated and signed wood holder.
