Good stamp on the blade and has survived 150 years. I believe this is a Richardson based on my researching of known New Brunswick makers. The stamp is a bit tricky to make out but possibly reads RICHARDSON. This is the first New Brunswick made saw I have ever seen and I spent many years buying tools on the east coast of Canada. What little I could find out was that an Alexander Richardson worked from 1845-1877 and closed his business in 1877 due to a fire. Rare indeed. If anyone has anything else definitive on this stamp, that would be appreciated.
