EXCELLENT SHIBANO SHINOGI OIRE NOMI DOVETAIL CHISEL - 12MM OR 1/2"

12mm cutting edge with a Japanese white oak handle. Known as 'shinogi' or 'umeki' chisels for dovetail work. Stamped '小山市' at the base of the blade.  From the Shibano forge from Oyama near Miki, Hyogo in Japan. Little used.
