H ADAMS NY DOUBLE IRON COMPLEX MOLDING PLANE 5/8" - 1841-70

Uncommon H ADAMS & CO NEW YORK plane with 2 irons. Three star stamp in AWP 3. They are listed as hardware dealers. 2 7/16" total width. Great plane with the side window shaving escapement. Very clean and sound as found noting a 1/4" thick applied fence and some odd roughness just at the very lower toe end. American double iron planes are not common.
