WONDERFUL EARLY 1852 PATENT BUTTON HOLE CUTTER - WALCOTT BOSTON

Clearly stamped 'H. D. WALCOTT'S PATENT JULY 27 1852'. Also stamped on the other side 'WALCOTT BROTHERS MANFRS BOSTON'.

Sterling condition. Considering it close to 200 years old. The knurling on the brass nut is sharp and excellent condition. The brass anvil is marked in 1/16th inch increments. Japanning is about 70%+ intact.
