STANLEY NO. 48 TONGUE & GROOVE PLANE

As found with the nickel plated fence and japanned body. Likely a WW II japanned production body with an 'in stock' earlier fence. Some of the Stanley nickel plated tools were japanned during the war to conserve nickel resources. Nonetheless this is as I found it and will make an excellent user...Beautiful rosewood knob.
