UNUSUAL HANDCRAFTED BEECH SPOKE SHAVE WITH EBONY WEDGE - L. CHAMPION CANADA

Fine overall condition. Stamped 'L. CHAMPION'. About 11" long from arm to arm. Beech body and ebony (or very dark rosewood) wedge. Iron measures 1 7/8" wide and 3 3/9" long. Previously repaired as seen in photos. Partial brass plate on the sole.

I bought this over 25 years ago along with a number of other tools made by L. Champion in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.
