Superb example of this rare brace. Clearly marked No 8 and HOLT MFG CO. SPRINGFIELD MASS PAT DEC 14 1880. This was patented December 14th 1880 for the split ball type chuck. Lignum vitae handle and grip in excellent condition. 70% nickel plating remaining. An excellent example and in excellent working condition. Copy of the patent papers included.
