POSSIBLY VERY RARE W THOMAS FULL BOX SIDE BEAD WOOD PLANE

A William Thomas is listed in AWP I page 360 with no record of a found plane. This example has characteristics of Baltimore planemakers from the ca 1835-75 time period in which Thomas worked. It also has full lignum vitae or rosewood boxing which is very typical of Baltimore planemakers. Beautiful clear stamp. Good overall condition.
