CA 1740 JOHN IENNION LONDON COMPLEX MOLDING PLANE

Jennion apprenticed to Robert Wooding ca 1724 to 1738 and henceforth took over Woodings business. This plane has Jennion's earliest recorded stamp on the front with a large star. Very early, very rare, and clear stamp (bad picture!). Great overall condition with some wormhole and possibly a replaced wedge. 9 7/8" long.
