G STACKPOLE 1867 PATENTED BRACE.

Rare patented Stackpole brace with spiral brass locking nut.  Good overall. Has been cleaned. Brace is pitted and has a small piece out of the handle. Spiral chuck mechanism working well. A very rare brace. Patented April 2, 1865. Copy of patent papers included.
