SUPERB SMALL ROPEMAKERS WOODEN FID WITH ORIGINAL KNOT WORK

This appears to be made from the sapwood of Lignum Vitae which is typical for a lot of the fids I have found over the years. This one has exquisite ropework on top. Measures 5 1/2" long and about 7/8" at the top end. A beautiful piece of marine art. This came out of Nova Scotia. Perfect condition.
