Outstanding condition. The rabbet is on right side as you pull (I have the matching left side rabbet also available). Measures 9" x 2". Blade is signed and measures 1 1/2". Blade may require honing/sharpening to refine for working. This and many of the other Japanese planes I have listed were brought over to Canada in the 1950s by a Japanese immigrant patternmaker.
